Prepping the baby room

We don’t have a lot of room in our apartment, and ended up turning the computer room into the baby room. The TARDIS will also be in the baby room.

As you can see, there was a lot of organizing to be done.

Rachel ordered most of the smaller baby things from China (super cheap that way) and her parents brought them when they came to visit.

We also found some good stuff at goodwill and garage sales, and we decided to DIY as much as we could.

We found a decent old brown rocking chair at goodwill and gave it a paint job. Spray painting was taking forever… I understand why nern always used a brush…

 

 

 

 

 

The spray paint did work well however for a piece of art to cover the electrical box!

 

 

 

 

 

Got a good deal on a crib and changing table from walmart. Ordered online so someone else could take everything up the long flight of stairs to the apartment.

 

 

 

 

 

Rachel has taken up sewing, and doing quite well with that, and making things for us and the baby.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She also went a little crazy with paper folding…

But when you put it all together, it was all worth it!
