We are finally home and settled in.. and we are also breaking one of the most important baby rules….Sleep when the baby sleeps!

But baby is asleep and there’s a lot to catch up on, so when else can I do it?

So this morning, Rachel was goofing around with the baby, cracked me up 😀

The doctor ok’d Rachel to leave, but she has to take some extra iron, as the c-section left her anemic. At least she was lucky she didn’t need a blood transfusion, she lost 2 liters of blood during the c-section!

Rachel is getting around pretty good, but very slow, and she’s not allowed to lift anything heavier than the baby for quite a while.

We left to go to directly to the pediatrician appointment, as there was no way Rachel could go up the stairs to home and back down and back up again. She’s at the point that people in their 80’s using walkers zip past her. so when we parked she had me go on ahead with the baby and she would catch up. I was halfway done with the paperwork by the time she got to the office.

The Doc was really great, I’m glad we got her. She came reccommended by our OB
